Babymetal won the 2015 CD Shop Award. The award was accepted by Su-metal. Yuimetal and Moametal did not participate in the award ceremony because of their busy schedule with Sakura Gakuin's Graduation Ceremony.
CD Shop Award (CDショップ大賞) is an annual Japanese music award. Voting is based on CD shop clerks all over Japan. The annual event was first held on 2009. Some of previous winners include: Momoiro Clover Z and Maximum the Hormone.
