Title: Mizuno Yui

Hello♪ It's Yui✿ I graduated from Sakura Gakuin on March 29 and this is my very last diary post.

It's been 5 years since Sakura gakuin was founded. Moa and Yui have seen everything☆

From one year before the foundation, every month we had an audition-with-lesson. Every time, we had to perform a set song and a free program. Elementary schooler Yui tried her best dreaming a day to perform on a stage with other members. It had been really tough!

When I was chosen as a member, and when the name of our group was decided to 'Sakura Gakuin', I felt like I was in heaven. XD Once we made a presentation to a record company and failed. We realized a severe reality and knew we must improve much more. That is why we felt so pleased when our debut with 'Yumeni Mukatte' was fixed, and when we played at TIF for the very first time. I'll never forget the happy moment☆ I have learned so many things in Sakura Gakuin.

I have seen seniors graduate every year, and finally, my turn to graduate has come. It's really sad, but I know Rinon, Saki, (Shirai)Saki-chan, Aiko, Sara and Megu together with new transfer-ins surely will succeed Yui's mind, the mind of all graduates. Yui shall keep sending my power to Sakura Gakuin forever. Yui shall keep watching you. In hard times, feel free to consult me, depend on me✿

Every graduate has been kindly taking care of us, cheering us up, and protecting us. From now on, Yui want to be a good graduate like them✿

Moa, Hana and Yunano...it was really fun to have a casual talk with you♪ We now start new life toward our respective dream. Let's make our dreams come true☆

Principal Kuramoto-sensei has made us experience several things, let us improve ourselves. Thanks to Mori-sensei's help, Yui could express myself fully -- I had been so timid burdened with 'senior's responsibility'. Teachers gave me advices and set the best circumstance for us☆ Mikiko-sensei, Kazune-sensei, Yuka-sensei, Yako-sensei and all people who has concerned to Sakura gakuin...I'm full of gratitude to you for everything♡♡

And...every one of Fukei-sans. Thank you for your sending power to me as if you were my real father or mother! Recently, I'm glad to see suprisingly many audience to the concert or comments to this diary from abroad. I could overcome everything because of Fukei-sans☆ I'm heartily, truly thankful to you. Please keep supporting my beloved Sakura Gakuin. :)

With a never-diminishing bond I shared with Sakura Gakuin members, I'll keep going toward Mizuno Yui's dream and YUIMETAL's dream.

Title: Sakura Girls seen from Yui★again

Hello♪ It's Yui☆

This time, I want to introduce Moa, Hana and Yunano as Yui see them!!

First, Yunano.

She is known to 'spit venom', but I sometimes saw her apologizing to lectures "I'm sorry for saying too harsh things".
I think Yunano is the only person who can play a part of Talk-chairperson this year. She always can pick up on something☆ Yunano joined Sakura Gakuin when she was 1st grade of middle school, so she has been Sakura girl two years shorter than Yui. But she is very reliable.

Next, Hana.

Since when we turned seniors, we come to consult each other, or talked about Sakura Gakuin. I could realize a lot of Hana. Hana is not good at expressing herself, but seeing her trying her best at open-
classes, I was struck with awe to her. Hana is always modest and temperate, just as Hana on stage.lol

Finally, Moa.

Moa is considerate, good at reading between the lines, and make us laugh all the time. Yui and Moa had shared the time for so long. So I know many faces of Moa which she never shows to other people. And I think I can be this strong because we've been together. I hope we can keep laughing, and stimulating each other✿

This year, four of us have lead Sakura Gakuin. Sometimes, our efforts failed to show results. But now we've overcome such spinning wheels, and I can safely say "I'm glad to be a colleague of you✿"
On 26th and 29th of March, 10 of us surely will make a special stage which only Sakura Gakuin-now can make.

Title: Archaeology of Songs

Hello♪ It's Yui. :D
How was the open-class 'Archaeology of Songs'??
Since our first open-class event 'Open Campus'....how many times did I take open-classes?
This was the very last open-class for us seniors.

I had 'Archaeology of Songs' class three times. At the first time, Yui sang 'Smile Again' and at the 2nd time, 'See You Again'.

And this time...it was really hard to decide.
There were some candidates...behind the curtain, I wanna tell one of them especially for you. It's a song Yui knew from my mom, 'Remember' of Kazama Sisters.

Kazama Sisters are...I hear they are fictitious sisters in a TV drama 'Sukeban Deka', consist of Asaka Yui-san, Oonishi Yuka-san and Nakamura Yuma-san. They sang a theme song for the drama.
Please pay attention to their names.

●Asaka Yui-san → The given-name sounds the same with Yui!
●Nakamura Yuma-san → Yuma(由真) has a same character with Yui(由結)!
●Oonishi Yuka-san → Yuka(結花) has a same character with Yui(由結)!

I felt an affinity because of their names, and also the lyric of the song is wonderful.
There were some other songs which I wanted to sing, But Yui decided the last song for my last 'Archaeology of songs' -- 'True Colors' of Cyndi Lauper-san.

When I told my famyly about my decision, I was told 'Isn't it too difficult to sing a cappella?' or 'I think you should rethink'. lol But, I think it's worthwhile to try the song because it is very difficult!
If you have not heard the song, please be sure to listen to 'True Colors'!

My mom had been to the open-class and said 'I couldn't see your writing on a large paper well'. So, I show you the photo of my writing of the lyric of 'True Colors'.(↓↓ See photos at the bottom)
I know my pronunciation was clumsy, but I sang from my heart. I'm happy if you could get my heart♥ I want to sing the song again, when I become more fluent in English.

This time, I dared not to talk about my love to Sakura Gakuin, in order to focus on 'Mizuno Yui in the future'♫ When I stated my thought at the end, I dared to be Tomato-kun because...if Yui herself had told something, she surely would have cryed. lol

The song was released before Yui was born. I rarely has a chance to listen to such old songs. Because of the 'Archaeology of Songs', Yui could know many wonderful songs. Yui will not take the open-class again, but I hope I would be able to listen to a variety of songs and would be able to feel several things.

I could learn several things which I had not known in each open-class. I really enjoyed them from my heart. I hope I can keep learning a lot, feeling a lot, and improving a lot♥

Title: Toyosu

Hello, it's Yui. :)

Thank you for coming to the open-class. And thank you for watching the open-class program on NicoNico-douga live streaming.

This time, we had the 'Study of Calligraphy'. At first, I wanted to show you 'cheerful Yui' and deliberately drew funny(?) words. But gradually I felt like to express myself, to show my inner voice.....and finally, I drew the word which has been always in my mind -- "Sakura Gakuin". The class ended so fast, but I could feel the passion of Yano-sensei to the calligraphy. The calligrph for Yano-sensei must be parallel of Sakura Gakuin for Yui. I felt happy to show you my Tomato-kun, and my passion to Sakura Gakuin.

And, we had a release event of 'Aogeba Tootoshi' at Lalaport Toyosu. Thank you for coming to see us. This time again, I made the setlist of the event.

From the opening, Mini-pati appeared! Every time we had an event at Lalaport Toyosu, we had an unveiling of a new song. This time, we unveiled Mini-pati song. How was that?

I hoped to change the atmosphere of the venue into 'Sakura-color' fast. So I picked this song which show 'Sakura Gakuin 2014nendo' fully.

４. Hello! IVY

In order to foster a sense of unity with Fukei-sans, and also with people who happened to see us casually, I chose this song with a choreo we play together with the audience. I was happy to see someone waved their hands. And the pink flags being waved were a spectacle.

５. Marshmallow irono Kimito

We unveiled Marshmallow at Lalaport Toyosu on 2012nendo. So I picked this song. It's really wonderful song and I was pleased to play it again.

６. Aogeba Tootoshi

It's the special-feature in this event. I was very pleased to hear your shout. I hope we could send the charm of this song to many people.

７. Jump up 〜Chiisana Yuuki〜

Last year, we planned release event for Jump up and it was cancelled because of heavy snow. So, as a revenge, I chose this song for the climax of the event. We played the song with thanks...hoping to send the hearts of four 2013nendo graduates to you.


The 1st part was cancelled due to heavy rain. We felt really sorry for letting you wait in cold place in vain. But we could play the 2nd part and I was heartily pleased to see you Fukei-sans♥

Recently, Yui read Sakura Gakuin diaries over again!!
And I recalled I had written "Sakura Girls seen from Yui" diaries. But in those diaries, there were no current girls but Moa.
So, this time, I want to introduce current girls as Yui see them★

Today, I introduce Aiko, Sara and Megu.
Megu is...
A person who challenge anything by herself without a fear. Yui is a kind of a person who think too much before challenging something...so, I admire such kouhai Megu!! But, sometimes, it happens Megu being timid. Just before a show, I saw Megu getting cold feet "Oh no...I can't do this". The other day, Megu gave me a letter and in it, I found Megu wrote "Yui-oneechan" and it made me really happy.

And Aiko.
Aiko has a confidence to express her own opinion. Such Aiko helped me mamy times. Aiko's performance is so good that I can't believe she is still an elementary schooler. Yui is really looking forward to seeing her performance as a senior of Sakura Gakuin. :D She usually pushes ahead confidently, but sometimes she consult me about her worries. And sometimes she wants to hold my hand...Aiko is a very cute baby.

Finally, Sara.
Sara has a good imagination and come up with unique idea. She usually seems to be absent-minded, but in fact she has a strong will. Yui and Sara often have fun with playing tsundere each other -- showing hostility intentionally and soon make up. lol But sometimes we have a serious talk. Sara ask me the knack of peformance or the way to practice, and she is doing her best in singing, dancing, MCing and everything.

Today, I introduced these three girls!!
How was that? It's my pleasure if you can find new charm and beauty of them♥

2015年第1弾LIVEが1月10日にさいたまスーパーアリーナで行われましたが、LIVEを終えた感想をお聞かせください。

Q: So your first Live performance of 2015 was held on January 10th at Saitama Super Arena, could you give us your post-show impressions? 

Su-metal: "At first we felt a bit of pressure as we thought we needed to show our fans how much we have grown through the experiences of performing overseas, but in fact because of the immense power we received from the fans in attendance it was really a lot of fun - Death! I was moved when the 20,000 fans sang the call back chorus with us near the end of the show and I felt, “The path we are on is still continuing”."

Yuimetal: "Last year before the July 1st “Legend “Y” - Yuimetal's 15th Birthday Celebration” show in France the band members and Babymetal staff celebrated my birthday together with a Birthday cake and many fans showed up with “Happy Birthday” sign boards and flags. Title: Invitation to the Live-Viewing -- Our long-cherished dream

I have a good news today☆ Our graduation concert on March 29 will be screened live!!

Those Fukei-sans who have not come to see us until now because they must travel a far distance, now will be able to see a concert of Sakura Gakuin at the same time. That makes me really, heartily, very happy.

It's a wonder that Yui will be shown on THAT HUGE screen of a theater...I've already been excited↑

The other day, I had a date with Rinon.
We watched the movie "Kurage-hime"!!

As Rinon said on LoGiRL, Yui and Rinon never miss to watch movies together, in which our adoring Nounen Rena-chan play the leading part♡♡ We had been longing to watch 'Kurage-hime' together since we heard Nounen Rena-chan play in the movie, and finally, our hope came true♪

In the movie, there were many eccentric otaku-characters and it was so fun. The movie described that something which can't be fulfilled by a person might be come true by joining forces of many people!! Yui felt it wonderful after all to make efforts for a goal together, with trusting each other. And I felt happy to think that is exactly what we Sakura Girls were just trying✿

And two of us bought Kurage-hime goods, then went to an all-you-can-eat buffet. We had a lot. talked a lot, and stuffed ourselves. :D

In this school year, Yui and Rinon also went to watch the movie 'Hot Road'. Joining Hana, three of us went to an amusement park, or ate together so many times. (there has been too many times to mention each one of them lol). Once we even ate together for three days in a row♥ lol
I think I had dates with Rinon the most in this school year.

It's Yui.
I know this is sudden, but do you think Yui and Sara look alike!?
OKay, first of all, I show you our photos in various expressions.

We are often said to look alike by other members and teachers. And I agree to it. Not only in facial expressions, but also in our personalities -- such as we both can't express ourselves in public well...lol I sometimes told Sara "We are alike in personality too"♪

The other day, Yui had my hair cut! Then Sara told me "Have you had your hair permed straight?" No way! How can she misunderstand it? lol

Funny: Yuimetal's head is on fire?

No. Yui's head is not on fire and there was no accident. This is just a picture that an anonymous Babymetal fan captured during Babymetal's concert in O2 Academy Brixton, London.
